Turmeric is a natural herb that may assist the body in the fight against arthrosclerosis, blood clotting, bile, gallstones, peptic and gastric ulcers, IBS, inflammation, cholesterol and liver problems.

Turmeric is extensively cultivated in India, China and Indonesia. In the Ayurvedic system (Indian Medicine) it is use mainly as an anti-inflammatory in the treatment of Jaundice, Menstrual Difficulties, Bloody Urine, Toothache, Chest pain and colic. In scientific research it showed to have a wide variety of potential uses that may be beneficial in the treatments of:

 

Turmeric may assist in the treatment of Arthrosclerosis, prevention of abnormal Blood clotting and Bile flow. Turmeric may also strengthen the Gastric Mucosa that may prevent and or treat Peptic Ulcers, Gastric Ulcers, Duodenal Ulcers, Indigestion and Irritable Bowl Syndrome. Turmeric may also assist in the prevention of certain cancers like Colon Cancer, Duodenal Cancer, Mouth Cancer, Pancreatic Cancer and Stomach Cancer. Turmeric may also inhibit the Helicobacter pylori virus that causes ulcers. Turmeric because of its anti-inflammatory effects may reduce Rheumatoid Arthritis symptoms.
