Nutitional supplement containing 50mg Co-Enzyme Q10 with Bioperine to enhance absorption.

Each capsule contains:

 

Coenzyme Q10 50.00 mg
BIOPERINE (black pepper extract) 2.50 mg

PHARMACOLOGICAL ACTION
Stimulates mitochondrial energy production, improves cardiac function and cardiomyopathy. Antioxidant activity against lipid peroxidation. Bioperine (Black pepper extract) has been shown to enhance absorption of Q10.

INDICATIONS
Tiredness, poor physical performance, statin induced myopathy. Protection and treatment of cardiovascular disease and cancer. Also used as support in the treatment of muscular dystrophy and in certain neurological conditions.

CONTRA INDICATIONS
Q10 is generally well tolerated and no serious adverse effects have been reprted with long-term use.

WARNINGS
Always consult your health professional if you are seriously ill.

INTERACTIONS
ANTIHYPERTENSIVE DRUGS: Q-10 might have additive blood pressure lowering effects. CHEMOTHERAPY: There is some concern that Q-10 might protect tumor cells from chemotherapeutic agents tha twork by inducing oxidative stress, such as alylating agents and radiation therapy. WARFARIN: Concomitant use might reduce the anticoagulation effects of warfarin.

PREGNANCY AND LACTATION
Insufficient reliable information available; avoid using.

DOSAGE AND DIRECTIONS OF USE
Take one capsule twice a day, preferably with fatty meals.

SIDE EFFECTS AND SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS
Some rare cases of diarrhoea, nausea loss of appetite and upset stomach have been reported.
