Product details

DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) Omega-3 fish oil capsules = good health, vision and brain function.

The Real Thing's DHA delivers 250 mg DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) and 50 mg EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) per capsule.

DHA is manufactured according to GMP standards in compliance with international standards for purity.

Over the past 100 years, there has been a decrease in the intake of omega-3 fatty acids, including DHA, especially in Western-based diets.

DHA is good for the brain!
DHA contributes to the maintenance of normal brain function. DHA is a long-chain polyunsaturated omega-3 fatty acid that cannot be made in the body and therefore needs to be sourced from food or supplements to maintain brain health.

DHA supplementation during pregnancy and lactation:
Sufficient amounts of DHA and other fatty acids are needed at this time to support rapid brain tissue development and growth. Maternal intake of DHA contributes to the normal development of the foetus's eyes and to that of breastfed infants. DHA levels are known to be high in the retina, where it is needed to support the growth of the eye in developing babies.

DHA helps to maintain vision

DHA and EPA also helps to support the health of your heart and cardiovascular system. It helps to maintain healthy triglyceride levels.
