Swanson Natural Vitamin K2 (Menaquinone-7 from Natto) is the most biologically active form of vitamin K2. Everyone knows about calcium and vitamin D for bone health, but what about vitamin K2? If there’s one vitamin you should know more about, this one’s it.

While vitamin K is mostly known for its involvement in blood clotting, K2 also helps to activate the proteins that regulate where calcium ends up in the body, promoting healthy levels in both bones and arteries. Meaning this little-known vitamin is a powerhouse when it comes to healthy bones, and a healthy heart. Our vitamin K2 is derived from 100% natural Japanese natto (a fermented soybean product), and because the Western diet is typically low in fermented foods, it also tends to be low in K2.  Since vitamin K2 is fat soluble, we deliver ours in sunflower oil-based softgels for optimum bioavailability.
