What is Similasan Pink Eye Relief for?+
According to homeopathic principles, the medicinal ingredients temporarily relieve minor symptoms associated with viral and environmental conjunctivitis — redness of the whites of the eyes and inner eyelids, excessive watery discharge, a gritty sensation and sensitivity to light.
When should I see a doctor instead of using these drops?+
The drops contain no antibiotic, so they should not be used for bacterial conjunctivitis. If you have a thick white, yellow or green discharge that may glue the eye shut, see your doctor — and children with conjunctivitis should always be seen by a physician.
How do I use Pink Eye Relief drops?+
For adults and children age 2 and over: squeeze the plastic tip to release 2 to 3 drops into the eye and apply as needed for up to 72 hours, replacing the cap tightly after use. The drops are for use in the eye only — do not swallow them, do not touch the tip of the container to any surface, and discard an open bottle after 30 days.
Can more than one person use the same bottle?+
No — use of this product by more than one person could spread infection. Contact lens wearers should consult a physician before using it, and if you are pregnant, consult a physician first.
