What does NOW Gastro Comfort do for the stomach?+
It is formulated to support a healthy stomach lining and gastric health. Its key ingredient, PepZin GI, is a form of zinc complexed with carnosine that has been shown to support the integrity of the stomach lining.
What else is in Gastro Comfort besides PepZin GI?+
Each capsule also includes mastic gum, a resin from the mastic tree traditionally used to maintain gastric health, plus slippery elm and organic aloe vera inner leaf to support a healthy digestive system.
How do I take Gastro Comfort and for how long?+
Take 1 capsule twice daily, with or without meals. Taking the product for at least eight weeks is recommended for best results.
Does Gastro Comfort contain common allergens?+
It is not manufactured with yeast, wheat, gluten, soy, corn, milk, egg, fish, shellfish, tree nut or sesame ingredients, though it is produced in a GMP facility that processes other ingredients containing these allergens. It is for adults only — speak to your healthcare provider if you are pregnant, nursing or on medication.
