Heartburn and indigestion drops
- Atropa belladonna: traditionally used within homeopathy for discomfort associated with indigestion and increased stomach acidity.
- Artemisia abrotanum, Robinia pseudacacia and Nux vomica: traditionally used within homeopathy for acid indigestion.
- Chionanthus virginicus: traditionally used within homeopathy for headaches arising from digestive upsets.
- Haronga madagascar: traditionally associated with an increase in the secretion of the digestive fluids, easing dyspepsia.
A homeopathic medicine which assists with heartburn and indigestion.
Excess acid in the stomach, too little acid in the stomach, reflux, burping, feeling in the stomach of fullness/bloatedness.
Dosage
Adults and children over 12 years:
Take 10 drops on the tongue, or directly under the tongue or in a teaspoon of water 4 times daily 15 minutes before meals. Discontinue once improvement occurs.
Children 6-12 years:
Take 5 drops on the tongue, or directly under the tongue or in a teaspoon of water 4 times daily 15 minutes before meals.
Children 2-6 years:
Take 2 drops on the tongue, or directly under the tongue or in a teaspoon of water 4 times daily 15 minutes before meals.
In acute/severe cases:
Take the relevant number of drops according to your/your child’s age hourly, gradually reducing frequency as improvement occurs, or as directed by your doctor or healthcare provider.

Haronga madagascar D1 (Haronga/Orange milk tree) |
Traditionally associated with the pancreas and liver, with accompanying diarrhoea and digestive symptoms. |
Nux vomica D6. (Poison nut) |
Morning nausea with weight and discomfort in the stomach, bloated epigastrium like a stone, dyspepsia, effects from overindulging in spices, alcohol, coffee and stimulants. Sour taste in the mouth in the morning. Reflux and waterbrash. |
Robinia pseudacacia D2 (Locust tree/False acacia) |
Sensation of a weight in stomach, with fullness and tension; sour liquid burping and heartburn at night when stomach is empty. Excessive acidity of the stomach, vomiting of sour fluid making the teeth sensitive. Bloated stomach and bowel with flatulence. Sourness in general with gastric headaches. |
