A.Vogel Boldocynara is a herbal tincture made from fresh artichoke leaf, dandelion root and herb, and boldo leaf, with fresh peppermint. It is a tonic taken to support the normal function of the liver and gallbladder. 50 ml.
What is in it
Each millilitre (33 drops) contains:
- Fresh artichoke leaf* (Cynara scolymus) (1:30) 0.467 ml — equivalent to 14 mg of leaf
- Fresh dandelion root and herb (Taraxacum officinalis) (1:17) 0.12 ml — equivalent to 6 mg of root and herb
- Boldo leaf (Peumus boldus) (1:10) 0.07 ml — equivalent to 6 mg of leaf
- Fresh peppermint herb* (Mentha piperita) tincture (1:2) 0.03 ml
1 ml of tincture contains 0.62 ml of alcohol (ethanol). *Certified organically grown by Bio Suisse.
How to take it
Adults and children over 12 years: 10-15 drops in water, three times daily, before meals. For ongoing use: 15 drops once or twice daily in a little water. Not recommended for children.
Before you buy
Do not use Boldocynara if you have obstructed bile ducts or liver cancer, or if your liver or kidney function has deteriorated seriously. Do not use it if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Do not exceed the stated recommended daily dose. Seek medical advice for acute and severe liver complaints such as hepatitis or biliary tract occlusion. Keep out of reach and sight of children.
