Product details

Product images are for illustration. Manufacturers update their packaging from time to time, so the pack you receive may look a little different. Always read the label on the product itself.

The Japanese and the Chinese have been drinking green tea for thousands of years. Eve’s Green Tea has a distinct smoky and nutlike flavour, it is delicious and mild to drink, and can be enjoyed all year round.

EVE’S GREEN TEA · SPECIAL SELECT · 80 unbleached teabags · NET WT: 160g

How to take

How to brew a satisfying cup of Eve's tea:

  1. Use one teabag per mug.
  2. Pour over hot water which is below boiling point.
  3. Infuse teabag for 3-5 minutes before removing and serving.
  4. Teabag may be used a second time for "topping up".

The optimum water temperature to use for brewing green tea is 80 degrees Celsius.

Using boiling water to brew green tea can result in a bitter taste.

The longer the Green tea bag is infused, the stronger the taste (more bitter) and the darker the colour of tea.

Green tea is traditionally served with fresh mint, lemon or honey to enhance flavour and enjoyment.

Ingredients

Green tea comes from the Camellia Sinensis plant.

Warnings

Green Tea and Caffeine:

Yes, Green tea does contain caffeine but less than coffee.

By infusing the tea bag and pouring the first cup off will reduce up to 80% of the caffeine.

Before you use it

Read the label on the pack for directions, ingredients and warnings, and follow them. If you're pregnant, breastfeeding, taking medication or managing a condition, ask your healthcare practitioner or one of our consultants first: WhatsApp 076 913 5059.
