Echinaforce® Forte Echinacea 30 Tablets

A.Vogel Echinaforce® Forte is a high-strength echinacea tablet made from freshly harvested, organically grown Echinacea purpurea herb and root. A.Vogel describes it as the most concentrated echinacea preparation in the Echinaforce® range. Thirty tablets to a pack.

What is in it

Extract of organically grown fresh Echinacea purpurea (purple coneflower) herb and root. Each 750 mg tablet contains the equivalent of 1 200 mg of Echinaforce tincture. Also contains lactose, potato starch and magnesium stearate (vegetable source).

How to take it

Adults and children over 12 years: 1 tablet daily before meals, which may be increased to 1 tablet twice a day, or 1 tablet three to five times a day. The tablet can be chewed or taken with water, 15 minutes before meals.

Children 6-12 years: 1 tablet daily, which may be increased to 1 tablet twice daily. For children aged 2-6 years, A.Vogel recommends Echinaforce® Junior chewable tablets or Echinaforce® drops instead.

Who should not take it

• People sensitive to allergens should speak to their doctor before using any product containing echinacea
• People allergic to peanut or soya — this product contains soya polysaccharides
• People with lactose sensitivities — this product contains lactose, which may affect glycaemic control in people with diabetes mellitus. People with galactosaemia, Lapp lactase deficiency, glucose-galactose malabsorption or fructose intolerance should not take it

Use during pregnancy should be under the supervision of, and on the recommendation of, a doctor. Keep out of reach of children. Store below 25 °C, out of sunlight.
