Nervolax comes from Chen Yan’s “Diseases of three causes and formula”, published in 1174 AD in the Song Dynasty.
In Traditional Chinese Medicine, Nervolax is associated with regulating Qi, resolving Phlegm, and harmonising the Stomach and Gallbladder. Within the TCM framework it is traditionally used for patterns of Phlegm and Heat in the Gallbladder and Phlegm-Heat disturbing the mind — described in the tradition by restlessness, disturbed sleep and night dreams.
