消渴片 / Xiao Ke Pian

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, Diabetic Herbs (Xiao Ke Pian) is associated with nourishing the Yin of the Lungs and Kidneys and clearing Heat. Within the TCM framework it is traditionally used for Xiao-Ke patterns — described in the tradition as “emaciation and thirst”, characterised by thirst, hunger and frequent urination, and attributed to Lung and Kidney Yin Deficiency with Spleen and Stomach Heat.
