参苓白术散 / Shen Ling Bai Zhu San

Consolidate Qi was released from the “Tai Ping Formulas of welfare dispensary”, issued by the state in the Song Dynasty of China. It was made by adding Spleen-strengthening and Dampness-removing herbs to the classic Four Gentlemen Formula.

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, Consolidate Qi is associated with strengthening the Spleen and removing Dampness. Within the TCM framework it is traditionally used for patterns of Spleen Deficiency with Dampness.
