What is Chinaherb Clear Lung Heat?+
It is a traditional Chinese herbal formula, Qing Qi Hua Tan Wan, first recorded in a work edited by Wu Kun, a famous Chinese doctor of the Ming Dynasty. In Traditional Chinese Medicine it is used for the pattern called Phlegm Heat accumulating in the Lungs, associated with cough, chest tightness and thick, yellow sputum.

For more than 500 years this classical formula has been used in Traditional Chinese Medicine for the pattern it names — Phlegm-Heat accumulating in the Lungs — traditionally described as cough with thick, yellow sputum, chest tightness and a feeling of fullness in the chest.
In Traditional Chinese Medicine terms, the formula is composed to clear Heat, transform Phlegm and restore the free downward movement of Lung Qi.
