What is in it

Each capsule contains:

• Valerian root [root, as 150 mg of a 5:1 extract] — 750 mg dried herb equivalent
• Passion flower [fruit, as 40 mg of a 4:1 extract] — 160 mg dried herb equivalent
• BioPerine™ [fruit, as 2.5 mg of a 50:1 extract standardised to 95% piperine] — 125 mg dried herb equivalent
• Gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) — 75 mg
• Hops [flower, as 15 mg of a 5:1 extract] — 75 mg dried herb equivalent
• L-theanine — 50 mg

Botanical names as VitaminMe print them: Valeriana officinalis L. (valerian), Passiflora incarnata L. (passion flower), Humulus lupulus L. (hops), L-theanine, gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA), Piper nigrum L. (black pepper).

How to take it

Take 1-3 tablets in the evening after food.

Do not use this product

VitaminMe print this as an absolute instruction: do not take it with alcohol.

They also print that if symptoms persist or worsen, or if sleeplessness persists for more than 4 weeks, you should consult your healthcare provider. Four weeks is their limit, not a suggestion — persistent sleeplessness is something to have looked at.

Speak to your doctor first if

• you have a medical condition, or you are currently taking any other medicine
• you are scheduled for an elective surgical procedure — VitaminMe advise stopping at least 2 weeks beforehand
• you have a hormone-sensitive condition such as breast, uterine or ovarian cancer, endometriosis or uterine fibroids
