Terranova Prenatal Multivitamin is a nutrient-rich formulation designed to support the nutritional needs of pregnant and breastfeeding women. It provides 22 different vitamins, minerals, and accessory nutrients, complemented by 7 Magnifood ingredients that enhance nutrient bioavailability and function.
The supplement includes methylfolate and Vitamin B12 as methylcobalamin, crucial nutrients for the development of a healthy foetus and prevention of neural tube defects. Its calcium l-methylfolate form is better absorbed and unaffected by metabolic defects that can hinder folic acid conversion, making it a reliable source of folate.
It also features the fatty acid DHA derived from Algal oil, essential for maternal health and the baby’s brain, eyes, and nervous system development. The product contains iron in the form of iron bisglycinate chelate (Ferrochel™), a well-tolerated and highly bioavailable form of iron that doesn’t cause common gastrointestinal side effects.
