It is designed not to. The iron is in bisglycinate chelate form — described as the most absorbable form — which allows for optimal absorption and causes less gastric upset than traditional iron supplements with low bioavailability.
What is the Magnifood complex in this iron supplement?+
Magnifood is a blend of fresh freeze-dried plant ingredients — rose hips, acai berry, stabilised rice bran and green barley grass. These enhance the absorption and utilisation of the iron and provide antioxidant protection against oxidative damage associated with long-term iron supplementation.
How do I take Easy Iron and how much iron does it give me?+
Adults take 1 capsule daily with food. Each capsule provides 20 mg of elemental iron alongside the Magnifood plant complex.
Can I take Easy Iron while pregnant or on medication?+
