Gymnema Sylvestre, also known as Periplica of the wood or Gurmar. Eating the fresh leaves numbs the taste buds to the sens of sweet or bitter, hence the name means ‘sweet destroyer’. Gymnema may assist in the management of blood glucose levels and enhance glucose tolerance.

Digestion: The Gurmarin compound in Gymnema may help to regulate the craving for sweet food and may help to reduce an excessive appetite. 

Ingredients

One vegetarian capsule provides: Gymnema sylvestre (Gymnema) [leaves, extract standardised for a minimum of 75% gymnemic acids] 300 mg. Other ingredients: Vegetarian capsule, natural flow agent and microcrystalline cellulose.

Do not take Sfera Gymnema sylvestre:

• if you are hypersensitive (allergic) to any of the ingredients of Sfera Gymnema sylvestre.

• Not to be used by patients with hypoglycaemia.

• Caution in hear conditions as it can stimulate the heart.
