Common questions
What is Pharma Germania Golden Rod?+
It is golden rod, supplied by Pharma Germania as loose dried herb in a 100 g pack. The listing does not print a botanical name or say which part of the plant is in the pack, so we do not either — the leaflet inside the box carries the quantity for this herb.
How do I make golden rod tea?+
Place one to two teaspoons of the herb in one cup of boiled water and steep for 10-15 minutes, then strain and drink hot or cold. The leaflet inside every box carries the specific quantity for that herb.
Can I mix it with other herbs?+
Yes. If you are mixing two or more herbs, use a teaspoon of the mixture when making your tea.
Who should check before drinking it?+
Read the pack before use, and speak to your healthcare provider if you are pregnant, breastfeeding or taking prescription medication. Our consultants can help in-store at any of our three counters or on WhatsApp.

How to make the tea
Tea made from botanic material — leaves, seeds, flowers, roots — is called herbal tea, and divides into infusions (tisanes) and decoctions. One to two teaspoons of herb makes a cup. The leaflet inside every box carries the specific quantity for that herb.

Decoction — for roots, seeds or barks. Place the required quantity in 500 ml of water. Bring to the boil, remove from the heat, and let it steep for 15-20 minutes. Strain, and drink hot or cold.
