Benefits of the essential oils in this blend

The essential oils in this blend is known to assist with increased hair growth. Cedarwood specifically balances oil production in the glands, making sure they don’t over or under produce. Ylang Ylang reduces stress and anxiety and lowers blood pressure. It is also known to stimulate sebum production, which leads to less breakages. Rosemary is known to prevent testosterone derivatives from attaching the hair follicles which in turn increases regrowth and cell regeneration. It will also lessen itchiness and pain on the scalp while it increases circulation. Lavender is known to promote cell regrowth. Harsh treatments such as hair dyes, perms, braiding and bleaching damages your cells and Lavender essential oil is just the one oil that will help regenerate those damaged cells. It is also a wonderful anti-microbial oil taking care of any bacterial or fungal infections on the scalp.

Bergamot essential oil is a known immuno-modulator, which means it dampens the immune system if it’s too over active and when under-active, it strengthens the immune system. This oil is a known wound healer as it has strong anti-inflammatory properties. It softens hair, tames curls and increases regrowth. Lemongrass is known to decrease dandruff due to powerful anti-biotic, anti-fungal, anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. It lowers blood pressure and headaches and regulates blood sugar. Dr. Denise decided to include Patchouli because it is a powerful skin-oil. It soothes that itchy scalp and even eczema.

Don’t think for a moment that the carrier oils in this blend is just used to fill the bottle! Every carrier oil was carefully chosen for their own reasons. Sweet Almond is a known hair oil and works wonders to soothe and moisturize. Argan specifically is high in Vitamin E, which is great for the scalp and hair follicles. Argan oil will even assist with psoriasis. It decreases fizziness and increases shine. A strong anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant oil which even protects hair against sun damage. Lastly, Avocado oil was chosen because it is so moisturizing. It stimulates bloodflow, unclogs blocked follicles and lessens hairloss.

How to use

How to use Pompadour Hair Serum

Depending on your hair length, use between a teaspoon to a tablespoon’s worth of oil. Start by adding 1 teaspoon to a section of your scalp and massaging it in, little by little. When done with a section, pull your hands through your hair to the tips. If needed at the end, add some oil to the hairtips too. The idea is to massage gently and then keep the oil in for about 2 hours. Can be left overnight.

For problem scalps, use every time you wash your hair. As a treatment, use once every two weeks.

Ingredients include pure natural essential oils of: Cedarwood, Ylang Ylang, Rosemary, Lavender, Bergamot, Lemongrass, Patchouli as well as pure natural carrier oils including: Sweet Almond, Argan, Avocado.
