Activated Charcoal 50g

Activated charcoal is a fine, odourless, black powder, valued for its remarkable ability to adsorb (bind) many substances onto its surface.

Superheating natural sources of carbon, such as macadamia nutshells, produces activated charcoal. The powder binds to many substances in the stomach; because the body does not absorb charcoal, whatever binds to it leaves the body through the bowels.

Each bottle of Activated Charcoal contains 50g of pure activated charcoal powder.

Traditional and cosmetic uses of Activated Charcoal:

• Used cosmetically to help whiten teeth
• Traditionally taken to help settle gas and bloating
• Traditionally taken for occasional digestive upsets
• Supports the body's normal elimination processes

Ingredients:
100% Activated Charcoal powder from Macadamia Nutshells.

Directions for Use:
Flatulence and digestive discomfort: take 1-2 grams of powder immediately, and then an additional 1 gram of powder every 6 hours thereafter, or until the discomfort settles.

Uncomfortable tummy due to a reaction to something you have eaten: 1-2 grams of powder taken immediately and then an additional dose every 6 hours thereafter, or until the discomfort settles.

Indigestion: 1-2 grams of powder taken immediately and then an additional 1 gram of powder every 6 hours thereafter, or until the discomfort settles.

Always mix into water before drinking.

Important: Suspected poisoning or overdose is a medical emergency — do not self-medicate; go to an emergency facility immediately.

Precautions:
Never put dry charcoal powder in your mouth as you could choke. Always mix well into water before drinking. Charcoal may neutralize the effects of certain types of drug medication — take it well apart from any medicines, and check with your pharmacist.
