Product details

Cold-pressed black seed oil (Nigella sativa), 250 ml. The label prints the thymoquinone content: 0.7%–0.9% of the 4.6 g of black cumin seed oil in a 5 ml serving, which works out to 32–41 mg of thymoquinone in a day's serving. If you are choosing between black seed oils, thymoquinone is the figure to compare, and it is printed on this one.

The liquid or the softgels?

Same seed, same maker, two different preparations — and neither is the stronger one. The 120 softgels are standardised to 5% thymoquinone, so every serving is identical to the last: 25 mg a day by their label, and no spoon. This bottle is the whole cold-pressed oil in a larger serving, so 32–41 mg a day by its label — and it carries a children's dose and a topical direction alongside the adult one. The softgels are the measured one; the bottle is the household one.

What the label says

The ingredient is 100% certified Nigella sativa oil. HolistQ declare the product non-GMO, vegan, free from animal products, GMP certified and plastic neutral.
