Safety & Certifications

GOTS Certified Organic Cotton:
Made from 100% organic cotton by a producer certified to the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) by an accredited certification body.

Gynaecologically Tested:
Tested over 3 menstrual cycles in an in‑use study under the supervision of a gynaecologist. There were zero cases of dryness, redness, itching or burning, and 100% of participants rated the tampons as well tolerated.

Dermatologically Tested, Hypoallergenic:
Clinically tested in a repeated patch test on 50 volunteers with sensitive skin. The tampons were rated non‑irritating and hypoallergenic.

Cytotoxicity Tested:
Independently tested by Eurofins according to ISO 10993‑5 under Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) to assess compatibility with cells. Result: not cytotoxic.

360° Safety Veil:
A patented organic cotton veil wraps the whole absorbent core, including the ends. This helps minimise fibre loss during insertion and removal.

Low Fibre Shedding, Lab Tested:
Independently tested by a third‑party laboratory. Fibre release measured 0.60 mg, which is below the laboratory's 1 mg threshold for a fully protected tampon.

How to use

HOW TO USE

Tampons are worn internally to absorb menstrual flow.

Please read the instructions included inside the box before first use.

Wrap used tampons in toilet paper and dispose of them in a waste bin. Do not flush.

Dispose of empty packaging according to local recycling guidelines.

IDEAL FOR

Gentle Day® tampons are available in three absorbency levels.
If you are using tampons or organic products for the first time, we recommend starting with Regular.
Always choose the lowest absorbency suitable for your flow and change tampons regularly.

Absorbency guide:

• Regular: absorbs 6–9 g
• Super: absorbs 9–12 g
• Super Plus: absorbs 12–15 g

What size to choose?

GENTLE DAY® tampons come in three sizes. When choosing tampons for the first time, we advise you to choose the smallest REGULAR size. In all other cases, choose the size that is most convenient for you. The bigger the tampon, the more it absorbs:

• REGULAR absorbs 6 - 9 g
• SUPER absorbs 9 - 12 g
• SUPER PLUS absorbs 12 - 15 g

Warnings
