It is designed to moisturise while maintaining balance — it balances oily and dry areas without leaving greasy residues or dry patches. It also smooths fine lines, supports elasticity and shields against dehydration and pollution.

What do the probiotics in this moisturiser actually do?+

The prebiotic and probiotic extracts feed and shift the skin's microbiome to support balance and strengthen the skin's barrier function. Esse calls this its BIOME+ formulation.

How do I use the Esse Deep Moisturiser?+

Gently press it into the skin of the face, neck and décolleté, morning and evening, after cleansing and toning.

Is the Esse Deep Moisturiser natural or organic?+

Yes — 99% of the total ingredients are from natural origin and 83% are from organic farming. The formula includes rooibos, jojoba, marula, baobab fruit extract, aloe vera and Cape chamomile, among others. Check the label for the full ingredient list.

Does this moisturiser have any sun protection?+

The yangu and manketti oils in the formula provide a natural sun protection of approximately SPF4. For prolonged sun exposure, additional SPF may be required.
