Escentia Tea tree (ti-tree) essential oil is one of the best-known cleansing and purifying essential oils, and a staple of home and personal care the world over.
It is utilized as an ingredient in homemade cleaning products and is often found in cleaning sprays, face washes, shampoos, massage oils, skin and nail creams and laundry detergents.
Tea tree organic essential oil can be used for:
Tea tree’s primary active ingredients include terpene hydrocarbons, monoterpenes and sesquiterpenes.
Tea-tree is traditionally used for the following:
- Skin: A classic choice for the care of oily and blemish-prone skin, and a familiar ingredient in creams for the nails and feet.
- Hair: Oily hair; dandruff.
- Mouth care: A traditional addition to mouthwash preparations.
- Home: A popular addition to room sprays, laundry care and homemade cleaning products.
Blends well with: Pine, Sandalwood, Thyme, Niaouli, Myrrh, Lemon, Cajeput, Chamomile, Clove, Cypress, Eucalyptus.
Technique of extraction method:
Tea tree (tea-tree) essential oil is distilled from the leaves and twigs of Melaleuca alternifolia. The oil is colourless to pale yellow.
Caution:
May affect sensitive skin. Keep out of reach of children. If you are pregnant, nursing, or under a doctor’s care, consult your physician. Avoid contact with eyes, inner ears, and sensitive areas.

Product Specifications: Melaleuca alternifolia is a small tree of about 7m tall with a bushy crown and whitish, papery bark. The flowers occur in white or cream-colored masses about 3–5 cm wide, which gives it a fluffy looking appearance in the spring to early summer months. The oil has a fresh, herbaceous, camphoraceous, green odor.
