Product details

Escentia Standard Beeswax Pellets offer a versatile, natural raw material in a convenient 250g size, ideal for crafting homemade skincare formulations, balms, salves, and candles. These pellets are derived from natural beeswax and have been processed into small, uniform pieces for easy measuring and faster melting compared to traditional beeswax blocks.

Beeswax is a time-honoured ingredient in natural beauty and wellness preparations. It acts as an effective emulsifier, helping to bind oil and water-based ingredients together in creams and lotions. Its natural film-forming properties create a protective barrier on the skin, locking in moisture without clogging pores. This makes it particularly useful in lip balms, body butters, healing salves, and hand creams.

The standard grade indicates that this beeswax retains its characteristic golden-yellow colour and subtle honey-like aroma. It has not been bleached or heavily refined, preserving much of its natural composition, including trace amounts of propolis and pollen. The pellet form eliminates the need for grating or chopping, simplifying the crafting process whether you're a seasoned formulator or a beginner experimenting with DIY skincare recipes.

Beyond cosmetic applications, these beeswax pellets are well suited for making beeswax wraps as a sustainable alternative to plastic cling film, wood polish, leather conditioner, and craft projects such as encaustic painting. Beeswax has a melting point of approximately 62–64°C, making it easy to work with using a double boiler.

The 250g pack is a practical starting size for smaller projects or for those wanting to trial beeswax in their formulations before committing to larger quantities.
