When applied to the skin in a diluted form, Clove Bud Essential Oil has a warm, spicy aroma and is traditionally used in aromatherapy for a comforting effect and to help soothe everyday muscle discomfort.
Clove bud oil can be used:
- To moisturise dry skin and assist with the appearance of the skin.
- To soothe irritation, itching and burning, such as that associated with contact with poison oak or poison ivy.
- To support healthy circulation. Clove Bud has been used in Tiger Balm to help support circulation.
Blends well with: Orange, Frankincense, Cassia, Cedarwood, Ginger, and Cinnamon.
Technique of extraction method:
Clove bud oil is obtained from the distillation of the buds of the Eugenia carryophyllata plant. It is usually steam or solvent extracted.
