Parasites: DE helps eliminate all intestinal parasites and worms from the body. If you suspect that you have parasites, it is advisable to take digestive enzymes on an empty stomach several times a day to breakdown dead parasites.  In addition some parasites can harbor viruses, which can be released when the parasite is killed.  Digestive enzymes high in protease can digest the cell wall of the virus.
