How do I take Biosil Lithium Orotate?+
Take 1 capsule twice per day with food, and be sure to stay well hydrated with clean water. Keep the container tightly closed in a cool, dry and dark place.
What is in each capsule?+
Each capsule contains 120mg of lithium orotate (providing 4.7mg elemental lithium) together with 230 mg of natural vitamin C-enriched baobab powder. The 60 vegan capsules contain no additives whatsoever and are not irradiated.
Is lithium orotate the same as prescription lithium?+
No — lithium orotate is a dietary supplement and is a different substance from the prescribed drugs lithium carbonate and lithium citrate. If you are on any medication, speak to your healthcare provider before adding it to your routine.
Who should not take lithium orotate?+
The maker's precautions state it should not be used by people who are severely debilitated, dehydrated or sodium-depleted, or who are taking diuretics or ACE inhibitors — advice from your medical practitioner is required in these instances. When in doubt, speak to your healthcare provider first.
