What is the difference between Essiac capsules and Essiac tea?+
The capsules contain the same herbal blend as the original Essiac Herbal Tea. They were formulated as an alternative for people who don't have the time to mix up a batch of tea — no fuss, no bother. The blend is all natural, not irradiated and contains no additives.
What herbs are in Biosil Essiac capsules?+
Each capsule contains Burdock Root 200 mg, Sheep Sorrel 150 mg, Slippery Elm 100 mg and Rhubarb Root 50 mg.
How do I take Essiac capsules?+
The recommended use is 1 capsule before breakfast and before lunch daily. It is best not to eat for an hour before taking a capsule and for an hour afterwards. Speak to your healthcare provider if you are pregnant, nursing or on medication — our consultants can also help in-store or on WhatsApp.

Essiac is a four-herb blend of burdock root, sheep sorrel, slippery elm and rhubarb root, taken as part of a broader wellness routine to support general wellbeing.

Rhubarb Root 50 mg
Serving size/Dosage:
