Are Bea's cranberry rusks really gluten and wheat free?+
Yes — instead of wheat flour they are baked with a flour mixture of tapioca, rice and potato flour. One honest note: they are made in a factory which also uses rye, oats, gluten and wheat, so if you are highly sensitive, check the label first and decide what suits you.
Are these rusks dairy free or vegan?+
No. They are homemade with butter and also contain buttermilk and eggs — cow's milk and eggs are the listed allergens. If you are avoiding dairy or eggs, this is not the rusk for you.
What ingredients are in Bea's gluten and wheat free rusks?+
A flour mixture of tapioca, rice and potato flour, butter, buttermilk, brown sugar, cranberries, sunflower seeds, coconut, eggs, linseed, baking powder, salt and xanthan gum. They are specifically made from unrefined ingredients.
