Blueberries and Elderberries are used as medicinal plants across the world. They are both rich in the antioxidant flavonoid known as Anthocyanin (standardised to a high ratio of 25%), which is what gives them their blue colouring.
Blueberries and Elderberries are low in calories, high in nutrients and are often referred to as a superfood. They have potent antioxidant properties which are found in their flavonoids, particularly the flavonoid anthocyanins. Antioxidants are compounds that can bind to, and neutralize DNA damaging free radicals inside your cells. When levels of free radicals become too high, they can become harmful and are linked to oxidative damage, which causes signs of ageing and is linked to multiple illnesses.
Maintaining a good balance between antioxidants and free radicals may help to reduce oxidative damage, improving DNA damage, brain function and memory, reducing inflammation, promoting healthy aging, immunities, metabolism and general good health.
Take two capsules, twice daily, preferably with food.
