L-LYSINE 1.00 g

PHARMACOLOGICAL ACTION
Lysine is an amino acid with a variety of functions in the body. It is widely known as an effective herpes treatment and it has also been used in the treatment of osteoporosis and it keeps the heart strong by promoting the synthesis of carnitine , an amino acid which plays a role in the transport of fuel ( fats) into the heart muscle thus strengthening the heart. It has also been used as a principal ingredient of the Rath-Pauling procedure for the treatment and prevention of blood clots and heart attacks. In the formation of blood clots, fibrin attaches to the lysine residues in certain structures and by presenting lysine in the blood as a supplement, it offers an alternative site for the attachment of fibrin thus reducing the tendency of a blood clots to form.

INDICATIONS
