Milk thistle (Silybum marianum) has been used for 2,000 years as an herbal remedy for a variety of ailments, particularly liver, kidney, and gall bladder problems.

Several scientific studies suggest that substances in milk thistle (especially a flavonoid called silymarin) protect the liver from toxins, including certain drugs and alcohol, which can cause liver damage in high doses.

Silymarin has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. And it may help the liver repair itself by growing new cells.

Dandelion leaves act as a diuretic, increasing the amount of urine your body makes. The leaves are used to stimulate the appetite and help digestion. Dandelion flower has antioxidant properties. Dandelion may also help improve the immune system.

Herbalists use dandelion root to detoxify the liver and gallbladder.

Marshmallow root has been used for thousands of years to treat digestive, respiratory, and skin conditions.

Bile duct blockage: Boldo seems to be able to increase the flow of bile, a fluid produced by the liver and stored in the gallbladder. Bile passes through small channels (ducts) in the intestine where it plays an important role in digesting fats.

The antioxidants in Burdock Root especially help to protect the liver against poisonous substances. The compounds that give Burdock its bitter taste can help stimulate bile production, helping the liver flush away toxins with more speed and ease.

Directions for Use:
Take 1 capsule, three times per day with water, preferably at mealtime, or as directed by your healthcare practitioner.
