 A herbal remedy for the prevention and treatment of colds, influenza-type infections and similar upper respiratory tract conditions, sore throats and mild lower urinary tract infections. A.Vogel Echinaforce Forte assists to modulate the immune response to infections. This extra-strength formula is the most concentrated Echinacea preparation in the Echinaforce® range.

Echinaforce® Forte is a western herbal medicine for colds, flu, and upper respiratory tract infections. Like its tablet, drop, and junior variants, it contains the Echinacea purpurea herb and root extract, which is widely-known for its immune-friendly benefits. As the name suggests, Echinaforce Forte® excels in preventing and treating colds and flu due to its extra strong, extra-concentrated dosage. The tablets inside the box are round, greenish in appearance, and are sweet tasting.

 

Dosage

 

Adults and children over 12 years:

To prevent colds and flu: 1 tablet daily before meals.

At times of increased infection risk: take 1 tablet up to twice a day.

In acute cases: 1 tablet 3-5 times per day before meals. Tablet can be chewed or taken with water 15 minutes before meals.

Children 6 – 12 years:

Prevention dose:
Take 1 tablet daily.
In acute cases:
Take 1 tablet twice daily.

Children aged 2 – 6 years:

A.VOGEL ECHINAFORCE® JUNIOR chewable tablets or A.VOGEL ECHINAFORCE® drops are recommended.

Use During Pregnancy: 

Usage during pregnancy should be done under the supervision of, and on
recommendation of, a doctor.

Who Should Not Use Echinaforce® Forte

 

Those Sensitive to Allergens
These people should speak to their GP before using a product with echinacea.
Those Allergic to Peanut or Soya
This product contains soya polysaccharides.
Those with Lactose Sensitivities
A.Vogel Echinaforce® Forte contains lactose, which may have an effect on the glycaemic control of patients with diabetes mellitus. Patients with galactosaemia, Lapp lactase deficiency, glucose-galactose malabsorption, or fructose intolerance should not take A.Vogel Echinaforce® Forte.

For the more at-risk populations, such as those with compromised immune systems, young children, the elderly, smokers, and people with chronic stress, Echinaforce® Forte is an excellent choice. This is because it can greatly decrease your chances of enduring complications like sinusitis, tonsillitis, ear infections, bronchitis, and pneumonia. Such complications increase the need for antibiotic treatment. And so, Echinaforce® Forte reduces this need.

 

Ingredients

Extract of organically grown fresh Echinacea purpurea (Purple Coneflower) herb and root. Also contains lactose, potato starch and magnesium stearate (vegetable source). Each 750mg tablet contains the equivalent of 1200mg Echinaforce tincture. This product contains lactose and may not be suitable for those who are lactose intolerant.

This product treats the symptoms of colds, flu, respiratory tract
