Flu Drops 

  • Baptista tinctoria, Eupatorium perfoliatum, Echinacea purpurea, Bryonia alba, Aconitum napellus, Gelsemium, Ferrum phosphoricum and Lachesis: all are effective in treating the symptoms of influenza, including headache, fever, muscular ache and catarrh of the respiratory system.

A homeopathic remedy for influenza and related symptoms. Painful body aching all over, feverish chills up and down the spine, sudden attack of flu, sore throat, headache, dry cough.

Dosage 

Adults and children over 12 years:
Take 10 drops on the tongue, or directly under the tongue or in a teaspoon of water 4 times daily 15 minutes before meals. Discontinue once improvement occurs.

Children 6-12 years:
Take 5 drops on the tongue, or directly under the tongue or in a teaspoon of water 4 times daily 15 minutes before meals.

Children 2-6 years:
Take 2 drops on the tongue, or directly under the tongue or in a teaspoon of water 4 times daily 15 minutes before meals.

In acute/severe cases:
Take the relevant number of drops according to your/your child’s age hourly, gradually reducing frequency as improvement occurs, or as directed by your doctor, pharmacist or other healthcare provider.

Aconitum napellus D4 (Monks hood)

Acute, sudden onset of infection and high fever with thirst for cold drinks, a flushed face and constricted pupils with chills and coldness typically after exposure to cold or mental shock. Headache with heaviness, heat and pressure sensation, a dry blocked nose with little discharge and a hoarse, dry croupy cough. A numb, tingling, cold feeling in the limbs which are heavy.

Baptisia tinctoria D3 (Wild Indigo)

Influenzas characterised by mental dullness, weakness, confusion and sleepiness and secondary septic conditions. Influenza with severe body pain and soreness. Fevers alternating with chills with dark flushed face.

Bryonia alba D4 (Bryony)

Influenza with severe body aches causing the patient to remain as still as possible. Fever with excess heat and sweating, severe bursting or splitting headache, chest and back pains and extreme thirst for large amounts of water.

Echinacea purpurea D3 (Purple coneflower)

A remedy with blood cleansing action for septic febrile conditions with chills and formation of discharges with offensive odour.

Eupatorium perfoliatum D6 (Boneset)

Influenza with very high fever and unbearable body and bone aches starting in the lower back. Extreme coldness and sensitivity to cold with the fever. Throbbing headaches with soreness in eyeballs.

Ferrum phosphoricum D6 (Iron phosphate)

Important remedy for first stages of influenzas and infections with paleness alternating with redness of the face, sensitivity to cold and increased thirst.

Gelsemium sempervirens D4 (Yellow Jasmine)

Influenzas characterised by severe weakness, debility, sleepiness, muscle weakness, heaviness of the head and eyelids and a hot flushed face. Body aches, chills and trembling of muscles with heavy limbs.

Lachesis mutus D10 (Bushmaster)

Fever with trembling and confusion and cannot tolerate any tight clothing especially around the neck. Influenzas with inflammation, constriction and pain of the throat. Chills in the spine and feet which are icy cold and left sided headache.
