5-HTP (5-Hydroxytryptophan) is extracted from the seeds of the Griffonia Simplicifolia plant and is a precursor to the neurotransmitter serotonin. Research has shown that supplementing with 5-HTP may help to support a healthy mood as well as healthy sleep and appetite.

Griffonia helps to promote serotonin levels, assist with depressive disorders, anxiety, weight loss, haedaches and insomnia.

Contra indications:
Individuals who are taking SSRIs or MAOIs as antidepressants should avoid consumption of Griffonia, due to potential side effects caused by increased serotonin levels.

Ingredients:
Griffonia (5-HTP) 100mg
As fillers: Di-Calcium Phosphate and Inulin (FOS)

Directions for Use:
Take 1-3 capsules daily with water, preferably at mealtime.
Or as directed by your health care practitioner.
